MeriLiFE empowers individuals to lead a sustainable lifestyle by making pro-planet choices in their daily lives. The app is inspired by the concept of LiFE, introduced by the Honourable Prime Minister at COP 26, which emphasizes mindful and deliberate utilization instead of mindless and wasteful consumption.

Meri LiFE is a marketplace where young people can explore their interests, find Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability focused opportunities that match their interests, and sign up to act on issues that matter the most to them. Mission Lifestyle for Environment recognises that Indian culture and living traditions are inherently sustainable. The event is a unique platform where inspired young minds as well as research scholars and faculty members will contribute to ideas for LiFE and strengthen this movement globally. The aim is to:

  • (1) Capture the details of existing innovations/prototypes developed by institutes on themes related to Mission LiFE or other related themes
  • (2) Identify challenges in inducing behavioural change related to LiFE
  • (3) Synergise young minds and mainstream their efforts towards Mission LiFE
  • (4) Commit research and development towards the efforts of behavioural nudges for climate action
  • (5) Promote the adoption of LiFE- Lifestyle for environment at individual level and globally

Undergraduate and above students, research scholars, faculty members and others can participate as individual and teams of upto 04 members.
